OUR HISTORY

Founded in Sandton in 1983 by Neil Graham, Associated Insurance Brokers (AIB) has grown into a trusted and successful short-term insurance brokerage based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In 2005, while retaining its trading name, it joined the i capital Group and is now registered as i capital Risk Services (Pty) Ltd trading as Associated Insurance Brokers (AIB).

AIB specializes in managing various classes of short-term corporate, commercial, industrial, property, domestic, household, and motor insurance. Our business is placed with a range of local insurance companies and niche underwriting agencies.

Clients can always expect and rely on personalized service.

AIB is an authorized financial service provider (License No. 19819), a member of FIA – the Financial Intermediaries Association of South Africa, and a member of Euribron – a leading global network of independent insurance intermediaries.

OUR TEAM

Our services are delivered by brokers registered as representatives of AIB under the FAIS Act. They are qualified to advise and guide you on financial matters relating to the purchase of any short-term insurance policy.

All AIB representatives are required to present their official certificate of representation. If a representative is operating under supervision, this will be clearly indicated on the certificate.

To ensure lasting expertise, professionalism, and service excellence, we invest heavily in the training and development of our people. We place particular emphasis on upskilling and advancing our previously disadvantaged colleagues, while our learnership programme helps us nurture and grow young talent within the business.
